KP BARBELL  

 

The 3-day KP Barbell course will increase your confidence to execute, coach, and troubleshoot the barbell strength lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, bent-over row) and their variations with clients. We will place a specific focus on personalizing setup, identifying areas of opportunity, and how to modify barbell movements based on the desired outcome to maximize performance while minimizing the risk of injury.

 

Unique to this course, you will have the opportunity to perform the big three lifts using velocity-based training tools. This technology can be leveraged to help you track performance, progress, and fatigue in yourself and clients.

  • QUALIFY CLIENTS TO PERFORM BARBELL STRENGTH LIFTS

    Explore exercise prerequisites to know the milestones clients need to reach to qualify them to complete barbell lifts safely

  • EXECUTE LIFT SPECIFIC MOVEMENT PREP SEQUENCES

    Create efficient and effective movement prep sequences based on the lift being performed and the needs of the client.

  • PERSONALIZE SETUP BASED ON INDIVIDUAL NEEDS

    Learn to individualize the setup for each client, including the stance, body position, load placement and grip used for each lift.

  • OPTIMIZE YOUR EXECUTION OF THE BARBELL STRENGTH LIFTS

    We will use video analysis to break down each lift to identify errors limiting you from maximizing your performance.

  • APPLY THE KP BARBELL SYSTEM TO EACH LIFT

    Use our system to identify and coach areas of opportunity in each lift to optimize mechanics and reduce the risk of injury.

  • CREATE PERFORMANCE-BASED STRENGTH PROGRAMS

    Safely and effectively integrate barbell lifts into your client's programs to improve function and maximize performance.
